FishAmerica Foundation
Investing today in sportfishing tomorrow
For 16 years, the American Sportfishing Association's FishAmerica Foundation has funded grassroots volunteer organizations to help them complete more than 530 fishery improvement projects valued at $3 million in 50 states and Canada. The foundation was created to help industry and citizens put something back into the fishery resources that make their businesses profitable and their spare time so enjoyable. Through FishAmerica, volunteers have donated more than One Million Hours of their time to improve water quality and fish populations all over North
America.
Thanks to the direct efforts of Tom Marshall, the director of the Fish America Foundation, we have received great tournament recognition and support that will be a continued asset for years to come. Tom has secured the rods & reels for the Youth Derby from Johnson and Pure Fishing, the Youth Derby tackle boxes from Plano Tackle Systems and the Bass Baby boat from Schafer Systems. Tom has also supplied us with 160 Rapala lures to sell to our tournament contestants and supporters as a means of fund raising for our not for profit event. All proceeds from the sale of these famous lures will be donated to the FishAmerica Foundation as our proud sponsorship of the work done by this great organization.
